deepstreamHUB Platform Proliferates Real Time Applications

March 10, 2017

Real time applications are touching the spectrum of industry; from healthcare and customer service to sales and DIY, the real time revolution is at hand. With successful use cases comes growing demand, and thankfully the tools are available to empower developers to create robust applications and get them to market faster than ever.

This week, Berlin-based deepstreamHUB announced its real time applications development platform. Application developers gain access to the necessary components to build a real time application featuring more than collaboration, chat and messaging. Developers can piece together IoT or virtual reality applications as well. With the growing number of industries interested in real time applications, deepstreamHUB’s timing is impeccable.

Wolfram Hempel, CEO and co-founder, deepstreamHub, explains, “Apps without real-time features are rare nowadays. Whether that be push notifications, news feeds or shared documents. Users expect their data to be transferred from screen to screen in real-time. This gives rise to large volumes of data which can quickly lead to overloading in the backend. Current solutions are hard to scale and not fast or reliable enough to transfer data instantaneously.”

The cloud based platform automates instantaneous data transfer between the cloud and the client; by utilizing the deepstreamHUB SDK, all connected devices sync in real time. The enablement of real time was once a major challenge, but firms like depstreamHUB work to make this a distant memory, creating a foundation for developers to let creativity take over for applications of tomorrow.

The proliferation of cloud-based applications adds stress on the network to support real time functionality. So, in conjunction with the newly developed SDK to aid developers in creating applications easy to scale, deepstreamHUB has addressed infrastructure to support the next generation of real time applications and promise real time performance.

“Real-time features are going to be a norm in tomorrow’s apps. Because of this, we have developed a fundamentally different infrastructure and SDK that enable developers to create real-time apps that transfer information in less than 16.6 milliseconds. This is faster than the screen reacts.”

We live in a real time world, where collaboration and exchange of data is key cog. The tools are out there, now it’s up to developers to shape the future of communications applications.
