Unisys Introduces Secure, Omnichannel Banking PlatformFebruary 17, 2017
Mobile banking is easily one of the best technological innovations of recent years. Gone are the days of waiting in long lines inside of banks, just wishing to cash your check and go about your day. Mobile banking takes that unnecessary annoyance away by allowing people to check their balances, pay bills and even deposit checks by taking pictures. If you feel that your financial institution and phone are secure enough to input all your information into a banking app, then mobile banking is great. Unfortunately, a lot of people are still wary of mobile banking and fear that their information will be stolen if they put too much of it online.
These fears are completely warranted—you never know what a hacker will be able to get their hands on. That’s why Unisys has created its new communications application, Elevate. Elevate is an end-to-end digital banking software platform and suite of applications that is designed to help financial institutions deliver secure, omnichannel banking to its users.

With Elevate, users will be able to pay their bills on the go, transfer funds and apply for loans and mortgages anytime, anywhere, no matter what device they’re on—phone, tablet, desktop, or inside a branch. Although users will be able to access a variety of functions, they will not have to worry about security because the communications application incorporates a high-level of security.
According to the announcement, the Unisys Stealth software “uses identity-based micro-segmentation techniques and encryption to create segments within an organization where only authorized users can access information, while those without authorization cannot even see that those endpoints exist.” The security system also has built-in adaptive biometric and data analytics, which are used to securely identify customers, authenticate access and validate transactions. This ultimately helps reduce fraud and enhances the customer experience.
Essentially, Elevate from Unisys is a secure, omnichannel banking experience. What more could a person want? With the biometric and data analytics in place to ensure that the person accessing the account is, in fact, the owner, users have a wealth of banking capabilities right at their fingertips, no matter which device they choose to use. It doesn’t get much better than that.
