Zang and Voicemails Forever Communications Applications Save VoicemailsFebruary 09, 2017
Voicemail is an important way of how we communicate. Often times, very important messages are left in the voicemail, whether personal or business related. And technology being what it is, they can get deleted accidentally or get lost because of a technical glitch. Just in time for Valentines, Voicemails Forever has announced it is enhancing its services by deploying Zang's first all-in-one cloud communications applications platform, as well as its applications-as-a-service to ensure voicemails never get lost or deleted.
According to Voicemails Forever, it is the only service that allows users to record, transfer and save existing and new voicemails as MP3 sound files on their computers without using any additional hardware or software. A simple three step process lets you save your voicemails on your computer from your phone. Zang will further simplify this process with a communications applications platform in its all-in-one cloud ecosystem.
Zang is an Avaya company that allows developers to quickly and easily build high quality communications applications to improve internal and external communication experiences of organizations through the apps services and APIs it provides.
Zang Cloud has a development platform that allows developers to create and transform a wide range of communications features so they can be integrated seamlessly with different systems. This includes voice, messaging, carrier services, call transcriptions, call recording voice changer, inbound XML and more.
The solution Voicemails Forever developed was to address the policies carriers have regarding voicemails. Although these policies are not uniform, in most cases messages are deleted from the systems after a certain amount of time. The deletion process doesn't take into account any preference, which means voicemails that are important and have sentimental value will also be discarded.
With Valentines around the corner, many sentimental voicemails will be recorded around the world. So the integration between Zang and Voicemails Forever couldn't have come at a more opportune time, which led David Poloner, founder of Voicemails Forever, to say, “Just in time for Valentine's Day, Zang Cloud will help our customers preserve their precious moments and memories, one voicemail at a time. Over the past few years, Voicemails Forever has helped thousands of people save more than two million voicemails permanently as mp3 files.”
